5/08/2014: Pressure units

Q: I have found xenolith records that have (pressure) reported, but no units. So kbars and GPa are represented, but no way to tell, except for the magnitude of the value. Like CARWYO-WK-H68-16B and FALHUNG-PAN-GC03-06 are GPa and kbars, respectively.

A: We have units in our database, but you are correct that they are not currently displayed on the PetDB interface. If you are interested in the units for only a small number of samples, you can tell us which samples or we can output all pressure analyses that we have in our database and send those to you to search through. Please let us know which you would prefer via email and we will get back to you.
