The EarthChem Team is a diverse group of Earth scientists,  computer scientists, data curators, software engineers, and application developers, who work together to develop and operate data systems and services that best support the evolving research needs of the Earth, ocean, and environmental science community. EarthChem is a collaborative effort between the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, the City College of New York, Kansas University, and the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and is funded by the US National Science Foundation.


EarthChem Systems are developed and operated by the Geoinformatics Research Group at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, and are part of the Interdisciplinary Earth Data Alliance IEDA.
